When we think about birds the images that come to our minds may be  that of a Parrot, Parakeet or some other domesticated bird. Then again you may think of Sparrows, Hummingbirds, Cardinals, and other wild backyard birds that we commonly see. The words “wild birds” may conjures up images of hawks, eagles,quail, pheasants and other such birds. For this article I will cover the wild birds that can or may frequent your backyard or patio. Yes it is possible to get a hawk or more unusual wild bird to our backyard, however for the norm this is not the case. The wild birds we will cover feeding are the seed, suet, fruit, and nectar eaters.

Make sure wither you use vinegar or mild soap to though ally rinse the feeder and let dry completely before you restock it. Use fresh wild bird foods such as mixed seed, sunflower seed, milit, thistle, suet ,fruit  or nectar if you are using a humming bird feeder. Adding a bird bath for  a source of water and bathing is a good idea. Now sit back and enjoy bird watching.
