you want to mix your own nectar mixture
this
one has
been
found to be a favorite of feeding Humming Bird. Take 1 part cane sugar,
4
parts water, and boil together for 1 to 2 minutes so as to kill
bacteria and slow down spoilage. You can add red food coloring to
help
attract the Hummingbirds to your feeder, however I do not
recommend
it.Cool the mixture and store in
the
refrigerator until you are ready to begin feeding them. Keep the
mixture
in your feeder no longer than two weeks. Store in
refrigerator for no more than two weeks. If you leave
the Oriel
nectar mixture out, use it within a
week so you will have a week of food in the Oriel feeder
before you need to change it.
In some
areas you may need a feeder that has bee and
ant guards so look for ones that have them or add bee
guard and ant guards to
